Skygunners looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Filipino Kevin Quiambao (193-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Jeong-Hyeon Lee (187-1999) helped adding 17 points. Five Skygunners players scored in double figures. Skygunners' coach Chang-Hwan Son used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and international guard Kisang Yu (188-2001) scored 18 points.

Egis shot 20 for 27 from the free-throw line, while Anyang only scored two points from the stripe. They outrebounded Anyang 42-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. Anyang was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Shawn Long (208-1993, college: Louisiana, agency: Pensack Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds. The former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) accounted for 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Filipino Rhenz Abando (188-1998) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Junhyeong Byeon (186-1996) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively for Anyang in the defeat. Four Anyang players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
